UI/UX EXPERT

Title: UI/UX Expert:

Location: Crystal City, VA

Duration: contract-to-hire, 6-12 mo, then hiring

 

Function:

Coordinates and participates in the development and production of a variety of new electronic products in order to ensure user-oriented design and functionality, completeness, accuracy, and timely release.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

Substantial coursework in paralegal studies, law, library science, information science, or subject areas covered by Client information services or equivalent experience. Coursework in SGML is desirable.

 

Minimum 3 years' experience using software production tools and techniques in use at Client to design and develop electronic products that fulfill the information needs of professional users, including a minimum of one year's experience in project management for electronic development projects. Experience must also include participating in the entire product development cycle for one or more products, as well as the development of documentation and training materials.

• - Knowledge of coding schemas such as SGML, HTML, and XML.
• - Thorough knowledge of the design, structure, and functions of information databases and of users' needs, requests, etc.
• - Thorough knowledge of Client information services and how they are used.
• - Thorough knowledge of publishing operations and workflows.
• - Ability to produce clear, useful designs and analyses of data, product development workflows, and documentation requirements.
• - Project management skills.
