Title: Web Content Consultant
Location: Washington, DC
Description
Our client is seeking a junior web content manager to support requirements gathering, analysis, planning, and migration activities on a series of Drupal-based development, redesign and migration activities. Duties will include facilitating clients through requirement discovery process, prototyping and documenting requirements, defining the project scope, and supporting the PM in developing a technical project plan. This position will also require clear communication with the development team and clients to translate requirements to support successful development and migration activities.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit stakeholder requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis.
- Work with web team to improve processes and tools, as needed.
- Create, develop, and manage content for organization’s web presence (requires working with content management software).
- Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties.
- Understand and communicate client-led standards for web presence.
- Copyedit and proofread web content and/or support internal client teams that will be writing and editing content.
- Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, and events.
- Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference.
- Track and report on all site metrics and develop dashboards and other presentation materials to help clients understand.

- Work cooperatively with key team members, clients, and vendors.
- Apply knowledge of the architecture and APIs to client specific needs.
- Deliver and/or support the delivery of technical training to customers.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess:
- 4 -6 years of experience in a business analyst role with a focus on web content consulting.
- Strong analytical and delivery management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business .
- needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
- Client friendliness with the ability to build and maintain trusting and value added client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and in fast paced environment with tight deadlines with minimal supervision .
- Ability to work on-site at federal agencies located in Washington, D.C. and must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge.
