Our Client is looking for a mid-level SharePoint 2010 developer with .NET experience to assist one of the federal agencies in development/maintenance of internal and public facing information systems.
Position Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data driven web based applications using SharePoint 2010, .NET SQL, HTML and AJAX coding

Perform thorough unit testing of the program logic
Collaborate with other members of the agency and with peers throughout the software development life cycle
Gather requirements by directly interfacing with the client
Contribute to and maintain system standards.
Resolve support and helpdesk requests as submitted by staff
Research and implement new technologies as they become available
Document code according to agency approved guidelines
Develop documentation related to functionality as required
Position Requirements
4+ years overall development experience (.Net) with 2 years in SharePoint development
Bachelor's Degree required
Good communication skills and self-managing
Ability to research solutions to technical questions
Ability to work as part of a development team
Clear and effective written communication
Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
Prior experience in the following is a must:
SharePoint 2010 (MOSS)
Thorough understanding of SharePoint Out-of-box functionality
Extensive knowledge of InfoPath and SharePoint 2010
Experience with design and coding best practices with SharePoint and InfoPath
SharePoint Workflow Development
SQL and SSRS reporting
Creating Sandbox solutions
Develop custom web parts and solutions
Creating custom site definitions and features - Preferred
Customize look-and-feel including master pages, css, page layouts, etc.
Test deployment scripts
SharePoint Development using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio 2010 (C#, jQuery, JavaScript, etc.)
Candidates must be able to work on-site at client sites located in Washington, DC and must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and will be required to pass a government background investigation.
